Summit

Someone really should have a little street vendor set-up up here and sell some pizza or something. As helpful as they are, a GU and dehydrated fruit and nut bar just don't quite feel like the reward we deserved after this climb. Such a service would also be very welcome by leaders of a small group ride who had to wait for half an hour for thier friend to make it up the hill. Now, I'm not saying that Brien and I had to wait for James, I just met him and I would never be so mean to a new friend. I'm just sayin'.

Climb

The beginning of a 5 mile, 2000 vertical ft., 6.6% grade of a climb known as King's Mountain Road. Spirits are still high and we 3 are still together. Neither would last.
